Department of Public Administration studies the administrative domain and its organizational structure. The prominent study fields of this department could be defined as administrative structure, public personnel management, bureaucracy, civil administration and local authority, theories of public administration, organizational planning, public organization, administrative geography, historical development of Turkish administrative system, the structural and operational problems of Turkish public administration and Turkish public administration reforms. The goal of this department is to provide the students the major principles and the basic problems of public administration from an historical as well as comprehensive perspective.
