Emre Ünür completed his undergraduate and master’s studies in the Department of International Relations at TOBB University of Economics and Technology. As a scholarship recipient of the Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Türkiye under Law No. 1416, he conducted his doctoral studies in Japan and received his PhD in International Cultural Studies from Tohoku University. His research focuses on the relationship between religious groups, politics, and society, with particular attention to secularism and gender. He joined the Social Sciences University of Ankara in 2025.
