Melis Zeynep Ünür completed her undergraduate education in International Relations at TOBB University of Economics and Technology and also earned a second bachelor's degree in Law through a double major program. She obtained her master's degree in International Relations from the same university and later received her Ph.D. in International Public Policy from Osaka University. Ünür joined the faculty of ASBÜ in 2024, and her research interests include nationalism, attitudes toward migration, and Japanese studies.
