Prof. Onur Ender Aslan was born in 1970 in Arpaçay, Kars. In 1992, he graduated from the Faculty of Political Sciences at Ankara University. In 1996, he received his MA degree and in 2005 he received his Ph.D. from the same faculty. He became an associate professor in 2008 and a professor in 2013 in the field of public administration. In 1997 he started to work as an assistant at the Instıtute of Public Administration of Turkey and the Middle East (TODAIE) and worked as a professor at the same university until 2018. From 2013 to 2018 he has served as the General Director of TODAIE. In October 2018, he was appointed as a professor at Social Sciences University of Ankara and presently, he performs the duty of Head of Department of Political Science Department. He has been in the United States for 4 months. From December 2000 to March 2002, he served as a consultant at the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development Public Administration Committee (OECD - PUMA) in Paris. Between 2013 – 2015, he was elected as a member of Jury of Public Personnel which is established by the Council of Ministers. Additionally, he has published 10 books on political science and public administration.
