Dr. Kılıç works as an Assistant Professor at Social Sciences University of Ankara, Faculty of Political Sciences. She earned her Ph.D. and B.A. degrees from Bilkent University, Department of Political Science and Public Administration in Ankara. She worked and taught courses at Bilkent University, Political Science, and Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University, Political Science and International Relations departments. Throughout her education and research, she received scholarships from Bilkent University, The Council of Higher Education (Türkiye), and The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye. Her research interests range from comparative media and cultural studies, political communication, ideational analysis, electoral integrity, nation-building, Turkish political history and thought. She has articles published in the Journal of Computer-mediated Communication, and Routledge.
